I love to write.  I used to do a column for the Bradford Telegraph and Argus..I enjoy the discipline of writing to deadlines and would love to get back into a regular column. I'm working on a novel at the moment, called 'You don't half get some nutters!' which, I have to admit, draws heavily on years of being a late night phone -in presenter. However if you are longing to see if  you are in it, (and if you have ever phoned me - you could be!!) then please don't hold your breath, I'm still re-writing Chapter 7.. so, at this rate, it could be 2056 before a publisher even gets a glance at it! Anyway here's a chance to see a few bits and pieces...I think they need a bit of explanation. The piece about Vernon was written a couple of years ago for a business magazine on the subject of sexual harrasment! (and it's true!)

What's yours' was something I submitted to the wonderful John Peel radio 4 programme.. 'Home Truths'... they claimed to like it but couldn't use it as
they had covered the subject,, but I felt it was a topic that would hit home to those of us over a certain age..!

The 'Last Night' piece was a piece for a broadsheet that never made it to
publication. They thought it was a bit intense, I thought it a real
representation of the type of programme I was presenting at the time (and yet again, it's all true..)  Hope you find them interesting.....
