Everyone keeps asking for more pictures, so here we go.  I'll change the images on this page from time to time, so please tell me which are your favorites.

The first three pictures were taken at Rounday Park, Leeds, during the 2006 Sports Aid event, 'Go The Extra Mile'.  All three were taken by Alan Manship of Ryburn Creative.

Alex Hall and Journey South

On stage with Alex and Journey South.

The runners set of at the start of the race.

While Andy, of Journey South, entertains the crowds.

Here I am at a Shed Opening
in Whitby, with a listener from Scarborough.

Regular listener Marra        joins me at the Whitby Shed Opening.

A very recent picture of yours truely at  the annual dinner of the Titanic Society .... held at the Odyssey Pavilion in Belfast.

Most women were in period costume but not me, as I didn't know!  You can meet some of the guests by visiting the Listeners Gallery, elsewhere on this web site.

Radio Leeds web-cam with Alex & Stev
From the Radio Leeds web-cam, taken on the 31st March 2005.

Alex on the left, Steve on the right and All Fools Day in the morning!

www.bbc.co.uk/radioleeds will take you to the studio web-cam.

Group shot at the MA Awards Ceromony

These two group shots were taken at the Modern Apprenticeship (MA) Awards Ceremony at York Racecourse.

Group shot at the MA Awards Ceromony

The awards ceremony took place in March 2004 and most of the students were from the York area.

The Big Read - quiz night photographs

Alex on the set of EmerdaleDo you remember Graham (Kevin Pallister)?  This image was taken during the filming of a storyline in which a pupil was caught in in possession of cannabis, after which Graham planted some of the drug in Rachel Hughes' jacket.

When sniffer dogs were later brought into the school, poor Rachel was arrested.

Alex Hall & Andy Hollins

This is my first ever publicity photograph, but do you know when it was taken?

At this time, I was working with Andy Hollins on The Late Show (sound familiar?) on Tfm Radio.

Both the telephone and the microphone in this studio shot are looking somewhat dated but, at the time, it was all state of the art technology.

Alex, in her 'brunette period' live in the studio

This photograph was taken during the filming of my late chat show for the TV programme Network First - but what was the year?

Alex on stage at a BBC Radio Roadshow

Not quite what you could call a true studio setting, this photograph was taken during a fairly recent outside broadcast.

This is the most recent picture of me on this page, it was taken during the summer of 2002, but anyone out there know where this picture was taken?

Where you there?   I'd love to hear your memories of that day, we had so much fun!

Alex Hall and Ray Brooks. Alex is the one in the leopard skin

The caption from the Evening Gazette of August 30th 1999 reads; 'lend me a pillow to dream on'.  So just who is the lucky guy with the lean-to look?

The World of Eddie Weary was a one-off drama for Yorkshire Television in 1990 starring Ray Brooks in the title role (and here you see him looking very weary ..or is that wary?) The two hour pilot had a very starry cast with Connie Booth, Celia Imrie, Anita Dobson (as a stripper!), the late Brian Glover and almost every actor Yorkshire had to offer! Filmed around Bradford, it was enjoyed by many but  never turned into the  hoped-for series ...

Alex with Mick McCormick of Steel NewsTaken from the pages of 'Steel News' from July 1990, here I am pictured with Mick McCormick of  the TQP communications team at Steel House.  The reason for the visit was to draw the winning entries in the magazine's 'Snow Slip Ups' competition.

The winners, Olwyn Tonkin and Cliff Wilson both received return air tickets for any one of British Midland Airways five destinations.

Olwyn and her husband Bill, were just about to book a holiday flight to Los Angeles when she heard of her win.  They used their tickets for the journey to Heathrow, where they joined their flight to the USA. Cliff decided to use his tickets on a British Midlands scheduled flight to Jersey for a holiday in the Channel Islands.

And yes, the mini was back in fashion then!
